Handi Kids provides therapeutic recreation to children, teens and young adults with physical, cognitive and/or developmental disabilities.  In our encouraging, yet challenging environment, caring counselors help individuals have fun as they develop self-confidence, meet new friends, exercise, socialize and develop important life skills through play.
Camp runs weekdays (except July 4) from 9AM to 3PM (please note the new 3PM closing time for 2008) with special options for a camper to arrive early (8AM) or stay late (5PM). Siblings are welcome in all sessions at a $50 discount from the regular camp tuition. Although camp sessions may be tailored to specific disabilities, your child may attend up to two of the five offered sessions. We accept applicants regardless of the severity of their disability.  Campers are placed in small groups according to their age and capabilities. Our specially trained staff and instructors provide individualized attention.  Camper to staff ratio is never more than 3:1.
